Your Board of Trustees has been busy preparing amendments to the Trust Deeds for both the Ngāti Mākino Heritage Trust and the Ngāti Mākino Iwi Authority.
The amendments are necessary to ensure that;
- the two Trust Deeds are consistent with each other
- efficiencies now available because of technology improvements can be taken advantage of
- savings from reduced advertising and notification costs can be realised
To help clarify what changes are proposed, the attached comparison tables provide a summary of the intended changes.
The amendments will be explained at the advertised Special General Meeting for Ngāti Mākino Heritage Trust and the Special General Meeting for the Ngāti Mākino Iwi Authority which will follow commencing at 3.00pm on Saturday 7th July.
