Ngāti Mākino are you keen to come together to learn /re-learn mahi haka - kapa haka.
We will learn at any of our marae. Talk to your whanau and if there is enough people who are keen we will call a time to hui.
Mahi haka can be a vehicle that enables:
- You to build a relationship with your marae your kōrero and your history
- Whakawhanaungatanga
- Strengthening your Mākinotanga
- Building your reo kōrero
- You to know who you are, where you are from
- You to have some fun & laughs with your wider whanau
To begin with this kaupapa will be led by Hare Wiremu & Muriwai Ihakara.

Things we need to know...
Names of all whanau members interested in being a part of this kaupapa, main contact persons contact details (address, phone, email etc), ages, level of commitment and skill (this is not important but it will give us an idea of where everyone is at in terms of their haka abilities).
